Abstract: This study explains why and how Buddhism is significant to the Indian subcontinent and the Himalayan region. It starts with the origins in the past and continues with an investigation of certain border areas. The importance of fostering Buddhism is emphasized throughout. Buddhism in the Indian Himalayas: a study groups of Buddhists, Buddhist temples, and Buddhist communities’ underneath is a condensed and relevant account of the gatherings, which discuss the current condition of Buddhist culture and its shifting patterns.
