Abstract: This paper explores the themes of resilience and redemption in Toni Morrison’s novel Song of Solomon within the framework of Black literature. Through textual analysis and contextual interpretation, it investigates how Morrison portrays the journey of her characters in navigating personal and collective struggles, and ultimately finding resilience and redemption. By examining the socio-cultural backdrop of the narrative and Morrison’s narrative techniques, this study aims to illuminate the significance of resilience and redemption as enduring motifs in Black literary traditions. The findings contribute to a deeper understanding of Morrison’s work and its broader implications in African American literature.
